About

Built by people who've spent decades inside health and social care.

Section Link is the latest chapter of Actualised Living, a family-rooted business that's been building care services and care software since 2004.

Our origin

From one family's care, to a national pathway.

Paul, Ann and Hugo de Savary founded Home From Home Care in 2004 to support their daughter Laura, and other adults with complex needs, to live their lives to the fullest.

Through the 2008 financial crisis, they grew to eleven services. Nine were rated Outstanding by the CQC. The lessons of running real services, at scale, with real people, are baked into everything we build.

“We want our software to power every social entrepreneur and charity in the country, a Zone Nation that touches every community.”

In 2016, Actualised Living opened up the underlying software, Zone Standard, to other organisations. Today it powers fifty-plus services, including small, medium and enterprise providers.

Section Link is the next step: bringing that operational rigour to NHS Mental Health Act assessments, co-produced with consultants and ICBs.

How we work

What "co-produced" means in practice.

01

Clinicians at the wheel

Every feature starts with a clinician's problem. Product and engineering serve that, not the other way around. No expensive upgrades, no surprise changes.

02

Shared progress

Insight, best practice and innovation are shared back across our partner sites. Everyone benefits from the work.
